1000 new trees in Troulloi Village, Larnaka.

The attendance of the people today in Troullos at the tree planting that took place this morning through the program of the Green Shield Youreforestcyprus in collaboration with the association ¨I embrace with love ¨ and the community Council of Troullos is really moving The tree planting started at 11:00 am and was covered by a live radio connection from the Third Program of RIK. Present was the Speaker of Parliament, under the auspices of which was the whole event, Mr. Sizopoulos on behalf of EDEK, the Citizen Commissioner, the community Council of Troullos, representatives of the initiative of DISY "One Million Trees", AKEL delegation Larnaca, United Nations delegation in Cyprus, associations, schools and many citizens..Very moving is the presence of cyclist Petros Stylianos who started from Tala in Paphos at 4:00 am and arrived at 11:00 am just to support the event. The people poured into the mountain and literally planted within 2 hours over 1000 saplings of pines, large trees, cypresses, olives and palm trees.
