The Green Shield Youreforestcyprus sapling adoption program gives every child the opportunity to take the effort to care for and grow their own sapling, starting the process from planting the seed.
All the children, after attending a 40-minute lecture on climate change, leave the school with their pot and with instructions on how to care for their plants and the promise that in a year from today if they bring their grown tree to one of our tree plantings will get their own medal.
We are at the disposal of schools that wish to organize similar activities within the school premises to contact us either by phone at 22454828 or through our Facebook page. Because only through education do we create active, conscious citizens!
